Your safety and well-being are our top priority

We know you may be concerned about the current outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and its implications for your health, that of your loved ones and our community. We understand and want to reassure you that One Church SD is taking all necessary precautions to keep you and our pastoral staff safe. We are following the guidelines of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as local, state and federal health officials.

Important Service Information

•We will be screening everyone who comes for service for symptoms of fever, new cough, shortness of breath and loss of taste or smell.

•With your safety in mind, we are restricting the number of people at service to 50% capacity.  These are current guidelines and we will adjust as restrictions are being updated.  Please be prepared to maintain social distancing of 6 feet while you wait to be accompanied to your seat.

Protect yourself

It is understandable to feel uncertain or anxious during a public health crisis. The best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to this virus. You can protect yourself and prevent the spread of respiratory viruses like COVID-19 by following these guidelines:

•Avoid close contact with sick people

•Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth

•Wash your hands often with soap and warm water or hand sanitizer

•Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

•Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then wash your hands

•Stay home when you are sick

•Don’t travel to places with widespread or sustained community transmission of COVID-19

Hints on wearing masks for prolonged periods of time

  1. Always wash your hands or use alcohol gel before placing your hands close to your eyes.
  2. If your mask moves up towards your eyes, pull on the bottom. Do not put your fingers by your eyes to move it down.
  3. If your mask causes your glasses to fog up, you can cross the ends of the ear loops and make a circle that your ears can go in.  This helps make a tighter fit.
